Bishop's Insight
One of the most inspiring stories in the Bible is the account of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea, found in Exodus 14:21-31. This powerful demonstration of God's miraculous power and faithfulness continues to resonate with us today.
As we reflect on this story, we are reminded of the importance of trusting in the Lord, even when faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Just as the Israelites had the Red Sea before them and Pharaoh's army behind them, we too encounter challenges that test our faith and resolve.
In those moments of uncertainty, we must remember that God is always with us, guiding our steps and providing a way where there seems to be no way. The same God who parted the Red Sea for the Israelites is the same God who works wonders in our lives today.
Just like the Israelites, we must step out in faith, trusting that God will make a way for us. When we face obstacles that seem impossible to overcome, we can rest assured that God's plan is greater than any challenge we may encounter.
The story of the Red Sea reminds us of God's faithfulness, His power to deliver us from our enemies, and His ability to make a way where there seems to be no way. Let us hold fast to our faith, knowing that God is always working on our behalf, causing us to triumph in every situation.

presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty,
dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen."
